Philip Wright joins Blank Slate Therapy, bringing a wealth of experience and training from inpatient, intensive outpatient, and private practice settings. Holding dual bachelors degrees in Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas, Philip has a passion for working with teens, adult individuals, couples and families. Philip is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

Philip is skilled in treating generalized and social anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem, relationship concerns, issues related to parenting and the parent-child relationship, as well as guilt, anger and self-defeating behaviors which often get in the way of quality of life and goal achievement.

Philip can also help with major life transitions, family conflict, and has experience working with all types of addictions. Philip takes an affirming approach to all belief systems, and enjoys working with LGBTQIA+ populations.

Philip specializes in evidence based modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). By incorporating CBT in sessions, Philip can help identify self- defeating thoughts and feelings, and work to replace these with healthier, more productive beliefs.

Philip offers a comfortable, non-judgmental space, combined with an integrative and collaborative approach to psychotherapy. He looks forward to meeting you.
