Jim is a strong proponent of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a short term therapy which helps individuals challenge and modify unhelpful beliefs related to traumatic events. Jim also utilizes the Emotional Freedom Technique, Ericksonian Hypnosis, and CBT, an evidence based modality which helps individuals gain greater insight into their thoughts, related emotions and unconscious patterns of behavior. By incorporating CBT in sessions, Jim can help identify self-defeating thoughts and feelings, and work to replace these with healthier, more productive beliefs.
Jim builds genuine therapeutic relationships rooted in acceptance and empathy, creating the conditions for real growth and healing. He truly looks forward to working with you.
