She provides a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients—ages 3 and up—can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a way that feels safe and supportive.
With a diverse professional and personal background, Jennifer understands that no two journeys are the same. Before becoming a therapist, she spent over 20 years as a corporate attorney, giving her firsthand insight into high-stress careers, life transitions, and personal reinvention. However, she recognizes that each person’s story is unique, and she strives to deeply understand who you are, your perspective, and your values to create a meaningful therapeutic experience.

Believing in the power of play as a tool for emotional growth and healing, Jennifer offers ChildCentered Play Therapy (CCPT), providing children with a safe, expressive space to develop emotional regulation, self-awareness, and confidence. These skills translate into positive outcomes at home, in school, and in social settings, helping children thrive. She is currently pursuing certification as a Registered Play Therapist, further deepening her expertise in this area.
Jennifer also has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective approach that helps both children and adults process trauma, reduce emotional distress, and reframe negative beliefs. EMDR can ease the intensity of painful memories and is also beneficial for anxiety, depression, and other emotional concerns.
Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and has clinical experience in community mental health and residential addiction treatment settings. She is an LPC Associate in the State of Texas, supervised by Megan Shelton, LPC-S (#66497). Additionally, she is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and a licensed Texas attorney.
Beyond her professional life, Jennifer and her husband are long-time Southlake residents, parents to two college-aged children, and caretakers of their much-loved rescue dogs and cats. She finds joy in traveling, fostering animals with a local rescue group, and spending time in the sun.
