Jessica Carr is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas, with more than a decade of experience in mental health, addiction, therapy and social work. Whether you are navigating mental health, addiction, or social issues, she will provide a supportive and inclusive space to help you achieve your goals. Jessica is passionate about working with teens (12+), adult individuals and couples, and is particularly attuned to the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Jessica’s aim is to ensure that you feel heard, validated, and supported from the very beginning, and she is especially skilled at building rapport quickly with her clients. One of her greatest strengths lies in her compassion, validation, and ability to provide a a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space which allows clients to explore their challenges openly and honestly. She can address sensitive topics with respect and openness, empowering individuals to achieve meaningful changes in their lives.

Jessica offers extensive experience supporting those facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, low self-esteem, women’s issues, coping issues, domestic violence, addiction, trauma, relationship concerns and more. She leans on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), IFS (Internal Family Systems), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Schema Therapy and Mindfulness practices to help clients build emotional resilience and interpersonal effectiveness.

IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a powerful approach which recognizes the different parts within you, each with its own perspectives and feelings. By working with these parts, it is possible to uncover the root causes of your struggles and promote healing and harmony within yourself. Jessica’s aim is to guide you in understanding and integrating these parts, fostering self-compassion and inner balance, so you can experience lasting change and live a more fulfilling life.

Jessica also utilizes Schema Therapy, which focuses on identifying and addressing deeply rooted patterns, or "schemas," that may be influencing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, you will explore these schemas and work to transform them, helping you break free from negative cycles and develop healthier, more adaptive ways of coping.

Jessica’s goal is to create a compassionate and understanding environment where you can heal and grow, ultimately leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life. She looks forward to meeting you.
